About:
When working with UV processes, there is nothing better than sunlight. During the warmer months, our outdoor garden studio is available to artists who enjoy working in the fresh air and sunshine. The outdoor space is ideal for alternative process printing, toning, staining, and any process that requires handling items from nature that might be dirty or wet.
Equipment List:
4’x8’ rolling table.
Trays from 8x10 through 30” x 40
Injet printer for digital negatives up to 44” wide.
UV Exposure Meter - PPM 2
Contact frames 5x7 up to 20x24.
Vacuum easel 24x28
Plexiglass - 11x14 through 36x48
Digital Timers.
Chemical coating area for paper and fabric in nearby walk-out basement.
Stainless steel sink, 8 ft x 3 ft.
Hose-fed print washer.
Print drying rack with screens up to 20x24.
Paper moisture reader.
We are in the process of building Tilt Top Vacuum Tables that can be easily rolled around the garden for large to x-large prints on paper.
We can arrange access to a local makerspace with a woodworking studio to build custom printing
