About:

When working with UV processes, there is nothing better than sunlight. During the warmer months, our outdoor garden studio is available to artists who enjoy working in the fresh air and sunshine. The outdoor space is ideal for alternative process printing, toning, staining, and any process that requires handling items from nature that might be dirty or wet.

We are in the process of building Tilt Top Vacuum Tables that can be easily rolled around the garden for large to x-large prints on paper.

We can arrange access to a local makerspace with a woodworking studio to build custom printing

Silver Darkroom

About:

Designed by working photographers, the Silver Darkroom is well ventilated, spacious, and a pleasure to work in. Our professional darkroom is equipped with everything you need to make silver prints and develop film 35mm up to 8x10 negatives.

Darkrooms are assigned to one artist at a time. You must have prior darkroom experience to reserve the darkroom for an independent retreat. If you are just getting started or need a refresher, request information on the retreat request form or register for one of our private darkroom workshops.
