Deep Forces with Kaye Savage

Deep Forces with Kaye Savage

January 27th - March 3rd, 2026
Tuesdays 7 - 8:30 pm EST for 6 weeks.

Explore an ongoing project in a new way, or start something completely different. We’ll use the rock cycle and plate tectonics as inspiration for our practice. Melting and crystallizing, slow flow, erosion, sedimentation, and burial. Coming together, splitting apart, abrading. How do our internal processes and external experiences meet in our photographs? Where does geology connect with our own living world? Weekly meetings will involve sharing, discussion, take-or-leave prompts, and image resources from other photographers.

Kinship uses a pay-what-you-can honor system with a minimum donation of $60. The average contribution for a five-week practice group is $125. Please give as generously as you can. If you cannot afford the minimum contribution of $60 please don't hesitate to request a scholarship.
