Keeping Time: A Practice Group Circle Back

Keeping Time

A Practice Group Circle Back

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, July 8th, 7 pm EDT

As photographers, we are timekeepers keeping time with our subjects. The word keep, from the Middle English kēpen, means to observe and harmonize, but also to protect and care. When we keep time through photography our practice becomes a form of stewardship. Here, making photographs becomes an act of service, paying forward the gifts we receive on behalf of our subjects into a world hungry for beauty and connection.

Join six photographers who have been keeping time with the places they love. Through embodied contemplative practices they are using photography to commune with their more-then-human kin while finding unique ways to animate these intimate connections through their photographs.
