Objects Embodied: Portals, Memory & Meaning
Objects Embodied: Portals, Memory & Meaning—A Practice Group Circle Back
August 27th @ 7 PM EDT on Zoom
The objects in our possession carry ancient energy, but it is energy that can be transformed by re-imagining our relationship to the spirits those objects contain—sometimes by simply taking them for a walk in the woods or down a stone path, or placing them onto a windowsill, and letting the play of light do its magic. And most beautiful of all, it is often those smallest of moments with the simplest of objects that can transport us in unexpected and powerful ways.
For eight weeks this summer, our practice group explored the power of objects as portals to memory and meaning. With fire as metaphor, we let light and our internal energy guide us.
