Looking Slowly: A Practice Group Circle Back

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, June 17th, at 7 pm EDT

The practice of Slow Looking offers a way to be with our work unhurriedly, and to notice what emerges when we linger. It asks us to arrive at an image without agenda, to listen for what others see that we did not, and to let meaning continue to unfold.

This spring, the Looking Slowly practice group met to develop tools for talking about what we see, separate from intention or authorship. We discovered that looking is also a form of listening, and that careful observation requires patience, curiosity, and a willingness to suspend judgment. Join us as we circle back to reflect on what the practice has opened up, what has stayed with us, and where it can take us.
