Invitation to Love: A Community Show and Share

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, February 18th, at 7 pm EST

As the late Joanna Macy reminds us, “It takes courage to love the things of this world and to believe that praising them is our noblest calling.” In celebration of Valentine’s Day, we are inviting you to participate in a community show and share that celebrates photography and love. Love is an invitation to the transformative work of justice, as well as the tender and relational work of attention and care. How do you photograph through a lens of love? If you were to imagine making a love letter through photographs, what would you photograph?

We are thinking about the infinite varieties of love, from love of place, to the emotional feeling of love, to romantic love, as well as the love that grounds us within conflict and purpose. Participate in the community show and share slideshow by submitting a photographic love letter of your own through the portal below, and join us as we gather for this sweet and tender conversation.

Please use this Google form to submit a photograph before Tuesday, February 17th, at 6 pm EST.
