Earth Through the Lens of Time: A Practice Group Circle Back
Earth Through the Lens of Time: A Practice Group Circle Back
Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, April 1st, at 7 pm EDT
The terrestrial earth is comprised of various components - minerals, elements, chemicals, etc. - in different stages of the life cycle. Over hundreds of years, a seed grows into a tree, which eventually returns to the earth as soil that feeds the next generation. Even such solid aspects of the earth as rocks transform over time. Over six weeks, the Earth Through the Lens of Time practice group questioned how Earth could be perceived across different time scales, from brief to geologic. And how, as humans, we place ourselves in this vast span of time that encompasses the history of the Earth. Join us as we explore these mysteries through the time-based medium of photography.
