Delta – A Kinship Community Share at the End of our Water Season

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, December 17th, at 7 pm EST

The third season in the Kinship Photography Collective’s exploration of Elementals brought us on a shapeshifting journey as we explored our relationship with water. We explored metaphors inspired by transitions in the water cycle, celebrated beauty, felt the power and the softness of water in sensory wonder, and considered how to advocate for the bodies of water that are meaningful to us – including our own.

Our final Wednesday water gathering will feature images made by the Kinship community, inspired by the questions and visual conversations of our immersion. How have our images or our approach to photography changed? What have we discovered about ourselves and our relationship with water? How have we expressed the quality of our attention to water in our visual work?

If you would like to contribute images to our community slideshow, please use this form to submit 1-5 JPEG images before Tuesday, December 16th, at 6:00 pm EST.
