Earth Day: A Kinship Photo Relay

Join us Tuesday, April 22nd, as Kinship creates a sunrise-to-sunset view of the Earth from wherever we are. In response to Earth Day's 2025 theme, OUR POWER, OUR PLANET, the Kinship Photography Collective will be celebrating the power of photography (and community) to awaken and inspire new ways of seeing, knowing, and caring.

Everyone is invited to join. The process is simple:

  1. Join the relay. Choose a time by typing your name in this Google spreadsheet. Deadline Tuesday, April 21st at 6:00 AM. Choose a timeslot in the Photographer 1 column. If all the time slots in the Photographer 1 column have been filled, then move over to the Photographer 2 column.

  2. Take your photograph. Show up a few minutes before your selected time. Please take a few quiet moments to imagine connecting across space and time with your collaborating kin. You are the connecting link between the photographer before and after. Take a few more moments to celebrate how your unique ways of seeing and responding are a vital part of the collective power of our Kinship community. Take your photographs during your selected time.

  3. Share your photographs. Use this form to send us your photograph. Share 1 -3 jpeg photos. Photo Submission Deadline, Wednesday, April 22nd at 1 pm EDT.

  4. Join us on Wednesday at 7 pm EDT for our weekly gathering, as we experience the Earth’s flow together while celebrating the magical synchronicities that arise through collaboration.
