The Summer Share with Paul Wanta & Susan Patrice

Join us via Zoom Wednesday, July 17th, 7 pm EDT

Join us for our third peer review featuring work by Paul Wanta & Susan Patrice

As a photographer and naturalist, Paul Wanta’s well-honed skills as a tracker and wayfinder inform his photography practice, creating photographs that are both familiar and surprising. Paul will share work taken over the last few years close to home, where he is most intimate with his surroundings.

Susan Patrice will be sharing work from her project The Land of My Body. Over the last three years Susan has been photographing on 500 acres once occupied by her 6th great grandmother. Here she ponders whether photography can capture the stories the land wants to tell and whether art can be a form of healing and ecological reparation.

Kinship peer reviews are not critiques but a chance to share work within a highly supportive environment where you can ask thoughtful questions and receive equally thoughtful responses. We hope you will join us.

If you are new to Kinship, please read our Culture of Kinship guidelines before offering feedback.
