Un-Earthed
Rosie Villano
This series is a way for me to investigate the question: what does it mean to embody a relationship to the earth? For me that means learning about the land that I live on, knowing about the food that I am eating, and to appreciate the bounty. This series is an expression of my love and reverence for the land. I am interested in the haunting, the uncovering, and peeling back to reveal what lies beneath. These photos feel like the sound of rubbing your hands together: a soft and slow exploration of the interaction between. This series is an in-progress conversation between my body and the land.
